As reported by VIBE, the collaboration that has been on the minds of fans for years is finally coming to fruition. Iconic music artist 50 Cent has officially confirmed he will be joining forces with fellow music icon Eminem to record a joint album, a project that has generated significant buzz among Hip-Hop enthusiasts.

Eminem recently hinted that the major obstacle for the album was their “own timing and organization.” In a surprising turn of events, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share that he would be stepping out of his self-imposed “retirement” to partake in this highly anticipated endeavor.

In an announcement made on December 26th, the multifaceted music and television mogul expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Looks like I’ll be back in the booth after all! Just gotta do this residency in Vegas first.”

Before heading into the studio with Eminem, 50 Cent made history by launching his first-ever Las Vegas residency, titled “50 Cent: In Da Club.” The event was scheduled from December 27th - January 4th. The conclusion of the show signals the official beginning of the joint album.

Earlier in 2023, 50 Cent shared insights into his creative process and revealed that Eminem reached out to him with promising news. “As soon as I said that, I got a text from [Eminem] that he had already spoken to Dre, and that Dre is in there, and he’s got some crazy stuff for me to go hear,” 50 recalled during an interview with Big Boy. He elaborated on the significance of Dr. Dre's involvement, expressing confidence in what the collaboration could yield. “I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”

The joint album between 50 Cent and Eminem stands as one of the most eagerly awaited releases in Hip-Hop. Fans have long been yearning for more music from the duo, whose prior collaborations include hits like “Patiently Waiting,” “Peep Show,” and “Crack a Bottle,” among others.

While no specific timeline for the release has been disclosed, the excitement surrounding this partnership is yielding significant interest.
